Warbler

First attempt at using gouache as a medium. This speed-painting was referenced from Josh Galicki’s Yellow-throated Warbler photo. I struggled a bit with the way dried gouache can blend with top layers. You can see this in the background, where I struggled to build up opacity. Hopefully, I’ll get better with the medium.

Medium: Reeve’s gouache on 90lb watercolor paper
Size: 15cm x 11.5cm
Time: 2-3 hours

  1. My partner and I stumbled over here coming from a different page and thought I should
check things out. I like what I see so now i’m following you.
Look forward to looking over your web page for a second time.

  2. Good day! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine
Optimization? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good results.

If you know of any please share. Thanks!

  3. Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic
but I had to tell someone!

  4. After checking out a number of the blog articles on your blog, I really like your way of writing a blog.
I saved it to my bookmark webpage list and will be checking back in the near
future. Please check out my web site too and
    let me know your opinion.

  5. With every little thing that appears to be building throughout this particular area, all your perspectives are actually rather radical. Having said that, I appologize, but I can not subscribe to your whole strategy, all be it radical none the less. It seems to everyone that your opinions are actually not entirely rationalized and in reality you are yourself not really wholly certain of the point. In any event I did take pleasure in examining it.

  6. Excellent post. I was checking constantly this blog and I’m impressed!

Very useful info specifically the last part 🙂
I care for such information a lot. I was looking for this particular information for a long
time. Thank you and best of luck.
