Warbler

First attempt at using gouache as a medium. This speed-painting was referenced from Josh Galicki’s Yellow-throated Warbler photo. I struggled a bit with the way dried gouache can blend with top layers. You can see this in the background, where I struggled to build up opacity. Hopefully, I’ll get better with the medium.

Medium: Reeve’s gouache on 90lb watercolor paper
Size: 15cm x 11.5cm
Time: 2-3 hours
Reference: Josh Galicki’s Instagram post

  1. I am really loving the theme/design of your blog.
Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility problems?
A small number of my blog audience have complained about
my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.
Do you have any suggestions to help fix this issue?

  2. Hi there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with
hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months
of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any methods to stop hackers?
