First attempt at using gouache as a medium. This speed-painting was referenced from Josh Galicki’s Yellow-throated Warbler photo. I struggled a bit with the way dried gouache can blend with top layers. You can see this in the background, where I struggled to build up opacity. Hopefully, I’ll get better with the medium.
Medium: Reeve’s gouache on 90lb watercolor paper
Size: 15cm x 11.5cm
Time: 2-3 hours

Heya! I know this is sort of off-topic but I had to ask. Does building a well-established website like
yours require a lot of work? I’m completely new to writing
a blog however I do write in my journal daily. I’d like to start a
blog so I will be able to share my experience and feelings online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of ideas or tips
for new aspiring bloggers. Appreciate it!

I’m really enjoying the design and layout of
your website. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it
much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out
a developer to create your theme? Superb
work!
