I don’t know who made these fantastic little sculptures or how long they’ve been on the trees at the Stawamus Chief, but I was genuinely excited when we discovered them. It was on the way down the mountain when we first started spotting little faces on trees. It reminded me of something out of a movie or video game. We found several of them, but there were probably many more that we didn’t manage to find.

It really was! We were rushing down the mountain before we came across these faces. It was a nice reminder to slow down and take things in.
Haha! Unfortunately I wasn't the one in my group of friends to spot them, but I think I would have been a little started to see a tree smiling at me too. 😛

Wow! Not gonna lie that would probably scare the crap out of me at first sight. :$ But looking closely at them they look very well made. Very nice and creative!
