As of today, I’ve officially started the first class of my Masters. I’m currently on a four day field course that is taking me throughout British Columbia to learn about current issues in natural resource management.
I also met my new peers and classmates for the first time today. I think it’s gone well so far and I look forward to the coming year.
I’ll be back in a few days, but for now here are pictures from Golden Ears Provincial Park and the Chilliwack River Fish Hatchery.

Clark! I know this is you!
You've really got to visit Guelph sometime. It's beautiful!
Thanks Britta. The photo is gorgeous, but it just doesn't compare to how it looked in person. It really was breath-taking!
Thanks so much Reut!
Looks like a great place to be studying. Far better than that dreaded Guelph place. Good luck with your studies. Chive On!
I second that: good luck with it all. I absolutely love that first photo: gorgeous tree and light.
Goodluck with your studies!
